Been a little while since I updated the blog but wanted to post these customs from about a month ago since it's a theme I've always wanted to do. Recently a client contacted me about doing a theme based on WWF/WWE & WCW Wrestling legend and one of the greatest wrestling icons of all time, the late great "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
Being a big fan of the Macho Man myself, this is a theme I've always wanted to do and was very excited about so I jumped at the opportunity right away. After we decided on what shoe and design to go with, it was time to put the theme into motion.
The shoes feature various elements from Savage's outfit themes, specifically from his 80s WWF era run. On the shoes is the classic "Macho Man" t-shirt logo, the lettering style from one of his bandanas, and the 3-star design from the tights he wore in the 80s as well as the inclusion of a random image I came across online:

Combine these elements and here you have the finished product:
Some additional details that were added is the words "Macho Madness" on the straps and as a special added touch, the client wanted his upcoming wedding date added to the back areas of the shoe.
